About the School

The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in 1992. It has about 10 laboratories with state-of-the art equipments and software packages to facilitate conduct of experiments in various aspects of electronics and instrumentation engineering. The department has a pool of well qualified faculty with a diversified set of expertise in the field of process control & instrumentation, telecommunication engineering, digital system design, automation engineering, biomedical instrumentation, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, electronic communication system etc. The department conducts regular talks by Industry experts, academic personnel as well as alumni who have made a mark in their respective fields. Training programs in related facets are also conducted from time to time to keep abreast with the changing technological scenario. The alumni of the department has have carved out a niche for themselves in the country as well as abroad. It has an in-house library of about 3000 books that caters to the needs of the faculty as well as the student. Currently the department runs PG programs in three specializations and is also offering PhD program from 2021.
