Dr. Sabitarani Hota completed her Post Graduation in Philosophy from Utkal University, Vani Vihar in the year 1986. She completed her M.Phil with First Class First Position from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 1988 . She pursued her Ph.D in the same university with a Regular Research fellowship and completed the same in the year 1992.She has more than 30 years of teaching experience in institutions of repute. She has done multiple Refresher and Orientation courses. She has organised National and State Level Seminars. She is working in the Department of Humanities, School of Basic Sciences and Humanities as a Guest Faculty since October,2024 where she teaches Universal Human Values.

Her research interests include Analytical Philosophy and Applied Ethics. She has published more than 10 research papers and articles in various journals and souvenirs. She has also published a book titled “Philosophy in Linguistic Perspective (Wittgenstein, Ryle, Austin)”. She has done three UGC sponsored Minor Research Projects on Applied Ethics.
