About

Prof. J. Naik, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in underwater robotics at OUTR, Bhubaneswar, holds a postgraduate degree in Machine Design and Analysis from NIT Rourkela and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. With extensive teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at CET Bhubaneswar since 2016 , Prof. Naik is skilled in design software like SolidWorks, Ansys and MATLAB. He has also actively participated in various workshops and training programs while contributing to student guidance, institutional administration, and technical project supervision. Prof. Naik's areas of interest include robotics, artificial intelligence, and Machine Design.

Research Interest

areas of interest include Vibration, focusing on the analysis and control of mechanical systems; Robotics, particularly in the design and development of autonomous and underwater robotic systems; Machine Design, involving the optimization of mechanical components using principles of strength and dynamics; and Artificial Intelligence, with an emphasis on integrating AI techniques like machine learning into robotics and automation for smarter engineering solutions.

5. A suitcase designed with a built-in stair stepper mechanism, providing a unique solution for mobility and fitness during travel.

6. A robotic system featuring dual arms designed for enhanced automation and multitasking capabilities in various industrial applications.
